PDR Mounts debuts new ceiling mount accessories
| Corona, CA - September 25 - 2008 PDR Mounts is pleased to announce NEW stress collars, false ceiling plate kits and telescoping pipe in stock and ready to rock! The NEW CPAO-15 and CPAO-21 stress collars answer the urgent need in commercial installs for safer ceiling plates for 1.5" NPT. Some engineers see a potential disaster in ceiling mount installs for plasmas and LCDs with conventional ceiling plates. Over time, the weight of the plasma or LCD can weaken the threads at the ceiling plate connection and lead to catastrophic property damage and personal injuries. Commercial clients and their insurance carriers are demanding safer solutions and PDR Mounts delivers. These cost effective, all steel plates provide a rigid pathway for the pipe, locking it into position and eliminating dangerous stress. The CPAO-15 works with common 1.5" threaded "plumber's pipe" and the CPAO-21 works with PDR's proprietary telescoping pipe.
With PDR's telescoping pipe, installers can adjust their drop for plasmas, LCDs, or projectors until they achieve the perfect height for optimal viewing. This feature saves countless labor hours and fuel costs incurred when installers make multiple trips to building supply chains to cut and recut pipe! PDR telescoping pipe is available in multiple sizes, offers cable management and uses security set screws so the installer can walk away from a completed job with the peace of mind that comes from knowing final settings are tamper proof. All TP models work with the CPAO-21 stress collar.
PDR's updated FCP-50 false ceiling plate kit now features "Rize Quick Locks" for faster installation. Heavy gage steel construction means greater weight capacity at 50 lbs. and variable design features mean flexible drop locations within 2'x2' and 2'x4' ceiling tiles. Electrical knockouts and chrome trim ring for 1.5" pipe make this a perfect solution for suspended ceilings.
